Look at his shot motion... despite his release being weird, he now has a 1 motion shot as opposed to a 2 motion shot. That's better, more like Curry. They still have to fix his release though.

It seems like he's trying to shoot it from his chest by going straight up from there. Which is really bad. Curry basically has this form but without the pause, one fluid motion off the dribble. He adopted the worse aspects of a fast release and slow release.

Yeah, his shot is so slow that even if he becomes super accurate, I don't see him getting it off in the nba unless he has a bunch of space between his defender. His shot currently looks like a kid's shot who isn't strong enough to release from a higher point. Curry doesn't have a very high release, but like you said, he doesn't pause at his chest and it's lightning quick.

It seems mental. I don't know if you follow baseball. But, there have been a few guys that got in thrir head and could just not throw anymore. Rick Ankiel was a pretty decent pitcher something happened and he literally could not throw a strike. After a year of trying to fix his machincs gave up and spent a year in minors and came back as a outfielder.

Happens a lot. Chuck Knoblock (spell) went from a great defenive middle infielder to hitting Keith Olberman's mom in the face errant throws to first just out of nowhere.

In high school one of our pitchers stopped being able to play catch. He could pitch and make throws in the field but just having a toss to warm up before the game became impossible for him. He'd sail throws 10 feet over my head or spike the ball a couple feet in front of himself. It was so weird.

Sixers brought in Embiid's shooting coach Drew Hanlen to work with Fultz. Hanlen has worked with Beal, Lavine, Wiggins, and Clarkson. Someone on r/Sixers dm'd Hanlen and he confirmed he was going to work with Fultz.

It's pretty well known that Aigne has a hard-on for long, athletic multi-skilled wings (Smart, Brown, Ojeleye), it's 10x more likely that Ainge just went after the talent archetype that he's been going after all these years (re: Justise Winslow)
